I am temporarily giving ownership of my group to a friend so he can make changes, but when I gave him ownership and he ranked me to admin, I have a ghost rank and I don’t know how to explain it. I basically cannot interact with the group at all it’s like I’m a ghost member. This is definitely a bug but I have no idea if it’s severe since my friend still has full control over the group but no matter what he does to my account I cannot do anything.
this is unrelated because the issue is the group perms, i was just using a game as an example of how i can change its name but i cant join studio on it
come to think of it i have 2 roles with the same name and i wonder if that is related. but when my friend had the role he tried to give me his perms worked fine
I see, it’s possible that your admin role may have some permissions issue. You can try verifying the permissions assigned to that role in the community’s role settings page, and if there is a permission that you believe is enabled but you are not able to perform the action you expect, try toggling it off and on again to update its state again. Is there a specific permission you’d like me to check on? Let me know if you are still running into issues with it!
Sometimes there is an issue that I have experienced as well, where when I change multiple permissions in a role at the same time, some of them don’t get saved. I would suggest they double-check in this case.
