Same product, they link to the same asset. My theory is that buying it in game produces a different result.
Do mock purchases not get logged? I think that should to make it easier to test, but they should be clearly marked as mock purchases.
Since Dev Products have always said the place name within the purchase hyperlink text, I think the gamepass sales with the place name were purchased in-game.
I don’t know if this is intentional on Roblox’s part, but now given enough sample size (and the assumption above) you could figure out your game’s sales mix of website vs in-game gamepass purchases. Could be valuable for figuring out if in-game store is enticing enough, but why Roblox wouldn’t incorporate actual statistics in Dev Stats on this is beyond me.
