I’m the ‘former’ owner of a 27K+ member Space Force milsim. In fact, I still own it. Problem is, ROBLOX API bugged causing my entire ROBLOX group to be claimed when I still had full ownership of the group.
I’m not too sure if this has happened before, but this is very stressful as I’ve lost everything that I worked for.
I contacted ROBLOX support, and they responded with “whenever you transfer ownership to another player, that play has full ownership of it.” Problem is, I didn’t transfer nor did I leave the group. So, my immediate thought was to check and clear my cookies, and make sure I didn’t get cookie breached. That didn’t happen. Then, I went to audit logs in the group area and saw that a user by the name of hansikrao563 claimed my group. I was getting constantly spammed, and people started saying “why is there two owners on your group”?
I rushed on my phone, hopped on ROBLOX as I wasn’t home, and I saw that the group no longer belonged to me. Someone joined my server and showed me that my server was on a “claim channel”. Meaning, my group was claimable. In reality, it wasn’t. So, the person who claimed my group messaged me and said why are there two owners? I said, “I don’t know man, ROBLOX bugged and allowed you to claim my group”. He was confused, and then transferred it onto an alt account. If you visit the group today, you’ll be able to see I also have owner permissions. But, I can’t pay out nor can I change ownership. Then, I get a message saying that he’s the brother of the guy who claimed your group. I asked for proof, and it turns out he was telling the truth. He told me to offer him ROBUX for the group. Once I offered, he said ok and blocked me.
ROBLOX support got back to me, and said I can’t get my group back. In the mean time, I messaged RookVanguard to help me out. He’s in the process of messaging his contacts.
I was basically robbed out of my ROBLOX group which I’ve spent time, and money into. Please, can anyone help me?
