Hi there! Welcome to my post! I have took my time to improve my GUI desigining skills! I have tried desigining some UI an operating system would have!
It might not be enough, I’m looking forward to make a portfolio. I just need to show a preview of my work and see what I can improve! Please leave opinions! Constructive Criticism allowed too.

I would say this project really helped improve your GUI design skills. I would say keep up this level of effort and you will see a lot of commissions come your way!
I had always made similar stuff! (Of Course, I improved. Gradient and so on)
I just, can’t get to finalize my skills. I don’t understand why. Especially when I get deconstructive criticism or being literally ghosted when I try to do comissions.

If you are being ghosted, it’s probably because the one giving the commission found another developer with a stronger portfolio. I would recommend to keep doing individual projects to build up a stronger portfolio.
Personally speaking, If I was a game development manager and was looking for UI developers, I want a strong portfolio. Something I can quickly glance at and say, “ya this kid can do the job”. If I can do that, usually the commission is pretty solid and I expect a solid product.
Your portfolio is everything. Build it up.
Those are some really solid UI’s! I say you’d improved a lot, and I love the shadowing styles you used!
