Hello.
I created this gun game a few months ago, and I started to really get into developing the game, I wanted to make this game idea an actual reality. I used to update this game every day, now I update it every few weeks to 1 month. It’s original name was Firearm Testing, but was changed to Gun Engine since Firearm Testing isn’t a name that fits all ages well. The game is meant to have realistic firearms on the Roblox platform. I spent my entire very small budget on advertisements, and I barely got a few more players that come and go every now and then. I got into making rendered thumbnails and game icons, so I could create them for my own games, instead of having to hire someone, of which I cant, due to money issues. Now the game has only a total of 236 visits, 33 favorites, 10 likes, and 5 dislikes. Not the greatest game. I would want to get feedback on this game, I cannot let it die just yet.

Be as harsh as you want on the feedback, I just need to know what I have right and wrong.

Hello! I noticed that you wanted feedback for your game.
First thing I noticed was a teleport failed when I joined, this immediately tells me you used some kind of model that has a script in it.
I also noticed that there is quite literally like at least maybe 5 minutes of content. The guns function and act the same.
The whole thing looks amateur from the UI and to the fact that the 100 guns you have is all in Roblox’s backpack which is extremely messy and not user friendly.
Another thing is this idea isn’t exactly original as well, there is many more gun testing game with more players, and honestly comparing the two, there isn’t a reason why you should play this one and not one with way better mechanics and more polished.
You asked for feedback and this is what I think. I honestly don’t think you should be charging a membership for this, it feels like a cash grab. If it was me, I would turn this into an actual shooter. This is normally harsher than I usually am but it is the truth. It looks incompetent and thrown together which I’m sure wasn’t the intention.
At this point I’m just ranting but anyways, I hope this helps in some way, take care.

Before I start, I want you to know you should never give up. With enough hard work, this gun engine can become great.
As for feedback, here’s some things I noticed:
- the first person aiming feels a little funky. The arm and the gun seems to drag behind the camera.
- I like the idea of having the guns mounted on the back, but it can get a little messy:
- As @StrangeShiner said, the UI looks a little bland. You could make a custom UI where you could select different guns, and that would also solve the problem of the messy backpack.
- Some of the animations are a little bit funky.
(edit)5. The gun flash seems a little bright.
All criticism aside, you clearly spent a lot of time and effort on this, and the pure amount of content (in terms of guns) is amazing. I think that with a little polish to the engine, and using the engine to create a cool FPS (i.e. TDM, Free for all, randomizer, gun game) this could be awesome. Amazing work!
(BTW I am a new dev so take this with a grain of salt).
