Halloween Obby Feedback

Hi Developers! Over the course of the last 2 days, I’ve built an obby and would like feedback. It’s fully interactive and scripted and would like ideas to improve it so I get more players! Thank you

For starters, the pacing is very bad. The first level is very hard compared to the others following it. The points where you can pause are way too small and just hard to land onto. This text at the beginning should be a GUI rather than text. It makes it hard to read as a 3D text that is glowing.!

Next, the fact that there are no checkpoints can make most younger players struggle and not want to play. The first obstacle is way too tight and compact as it is too hard to land in between each red part.

Parts like shown below are near impossible for a player to do on a mobile device and even on a PC, it is extremely hard.

The tightrope you climb on is way too thin and small. Make it wider as it is even extremely hard on PC. You want your game to be fun to play on all devices. If you want to market just to PC though then you need to make it a bit wider.

Next is the lasers right after the rope. You need the player to be able to take a quick break otherwise they might just quit the game early. The assets do not match each other as you have realistic tires mixed in with lowish poly trees and objects. I think you should switch the grass to terrain grass as all the parts and meshes can be harmful to weaker devices and computers. I think you should pick an art style and try and make the game fit that art style. Overall the game a lot of work before release. 2 days is very fast to publish a demo for people to test out. One last thing I forgot to add up here is the conveyer being slightly fast for mobile devices. There is very honest feedback. Hope it helps and good luck with your game!

Sincerely,
Ryan :roblox:

On the second part of the obby when you reach the grass I feel as though a warning is needed in a roundabout way to warn players of the grass. Like a keep off grass sign.
