Hi, I want to know if a portrayal of hallucinogenic agents is possible.
This is the concept: It is a hallucinogenic agent made out of special saffron flowers that make people hallucinates and become obedient (basically Far Cry 5 bliss).
The players won’t be using/affected by it , it will only affects the NPCs making them a brainwashed minions (again, like in Far Cry 5)
If not then pls suggest replacements
Definitely not. You can get into serious trouble because as Hallucinogenic agents are drugs and even for 17+ they are not allowed. Looks like you have to make it more family friendly.

As said make it more cartoonish like perhaps a simple potion?
That’s the same thing isnt it? It’d be a hallucinogenic potion which is what I’m already going for/
Also saffron flowers are not a component in drugs but rather are made into spices, so it’s basically feeding the NPCs hallucinogenic peppers or salt. I mentioned it because there will be a saffron field that the players will have to take control to stop the production of the hallucinogenic agents.
Note: Forgot to mention that the bad guys uses it to recruit armies
Alright then try not to get too realistic with it. Do add some stuff of it but try not to indicate to the players that its a drug.
