Happy Holidays! Christmas update for 1867 Luxembourg

The nights are drawing in (in the Northern Hemisphere) and the thoughts of many are turning towards Christmas or other important festive celebrations. To celebrate the start of December, my colleague (cyberpiper) and I have transformed our game by adding snow to as many horizontal surfaces as possible and added many other festive features. The visitors to our game, 1867 Luxembourg, are going to get a surprise from December 1st.

Happy Holidays!

Thank you for your feedback @imagiraff1234

To answer your question: yes, 1867 Luxembourg was garrison by soldiers from Prussia. These soldiers patrolled the streets of Luxembourg and were garrisoned in local residents’ homes across the city. Yes, they were armed.

We have a Prussian solider group that interested parties can join. With the large amount of building and social media updates, this is an area of the game that has not been developed to it’s potential yet. You are welcome to join the ranks of the soldiers, if you wish.

Yeah wow, I’m honestly speechless… It looks fantastic and rather quite realistic.

Wow, looks really beautiful. How did you add falling snow? Video too, camera is not shaking, I tried to make a trailer and I was wondering how to make it so that it doesn’t shake.

The snow was found by searching in the Roblox toolbox and assessing all the results, until I found the one that I thought was the best.

As for the video, I constructed a replica of the game and then anchored a large transparent part in the sky, with a spawning point on top, and then I used this replica as a recording studio for the above video. I entered the game and walked my avatar about on the part, whilst recording a video clip at the same time. It was that which gave these aerial zooms across the city.

Okay, thank you! What a clever idea to shoot a video this way, I would have never thought of an idea like that.
