Haven’t gotten a reply yet
Downtime Has Started.
The Game Will be Closed until its 12:30
Yes but i have the white theme instead of the dark one
ok I just reset my computer and It works now, gonna plant down the rest of the check points and fix bugs also make more stages
Just joined the game and:
I will keep playing for a bit and see whether I will actually enjoy the course or not.
Follow up comments:
I am in the 2nd checkpoint so far and to be honest, the obby itself is pretty hard already. In addition, I encountered this: (I don’t believe it should be there)
Finally, the reset button should be binded to the player’s keys, it makes no difference having to wait to die or to press the reset button. (FYI: Instead of killing the person, teleport them to the checkpoint instead, it makes it a lot faster)
Instead of setting the Humanoid’s health to 0, teleport them to the last checkpoint’s position.
Also, learn how to accept criticism bud. Use it to improve and not to be toxic on me.
Finally, I am pretty sure this is impossible.
In alot of your obbys you rely mostly on very loose and misplaced plattforms held together by ropes. Where every obby slowly turns into a RNG-heavy round of dice where you just have to pray that the glitched out big rock wont sweep you off your feet or the plattform doesnt spaz out and fling you 200 studs into the air.
The idea is pretty good, but if you want people to truly enjoy it then see if youre able to playtest it by yourself and ask your friends if theyre able to beat it. I can obviously understand why you’d be upset at the amount of criticism being targeted towards you but just try and use it as an opportunity to ask questions about what they like and did not like.
Happy building!
He’s just gonna mute you and do nothing about it.
Don’t forget the again read smh
But I totally agree. This game needs a lot of fixing, and as it’s WIP, there’s a lot to add before it’s a stable build.
So you’re saying you want praise, not constructive criticism?
Honestly it just gets too hard to play.
At stage 5 it’s almost impossible to jump that far.
It’s honestly too hard and made of free models.
I’d recommend replacing it with your own stuff and maybe not making it so I fling 500 miles every time I fall.
I absolutely LOVE difficulty charts and JToH, but I got a lot to say about this game.
The beginning was pretty interesting when it reached the spinning parts going over spinnings, and it was ok. The JToH kit is still there on the side, so I’d put that in ServerStorage whenever you do an update, so no body sees it.
Make the actual difficulty chart its self more appealing. Right now it’s kinda crammed away in a corner.
Fix the stud misalignments. I get it I get it, it’s the worst thing about building an obby, but doing something as simple as that can keep players in longer, just small bits here and there can make players feel like the game is more well rounded.
Create a better flow. Right now, everything is stringent, and disconnected. The game easily looses flow. I know this is meant to be hard, but by moving stuff here and there, it will allow for a better flow, and maybe even speedrun opportunities to arise, and you definitely want to hook those players, as they can keep a small community going around your game, and be able to keep it active enough for a player browsing the games page to see the game, and join it.
I hope you actually take this advice, rather than rejecting it like you have done countless times on this thread, anyways, best of luck!
Stage 5 is very close to impossible; this is worsened when multiple players attempt the stage at once considering the parts do not move locally for each player.
It would be very helpful if you could test your game’s playability and functionality prior to sharing it in #help-and-feedback:cool-creations so we can actually play the game properly and give you more helpful and relevant feedback to your wider game, rather than the first 5 stages.
To me, this game doesn’t classify as a difficulty chart obby. There isn’t any progression from ‘easy’ to hard whatsoever. It’s important you establish a balance between difficulty and impossibility.
The reset button is fairly useless since you can’t access it due to it being behind the chat. I would suggest having an R to reset button since this would be convenient and efficient, and players will be saved from waiting ages to respawn should they fall.
This label also serves 0 purpose.
Edit: There’s also an error with the reset button.
You also cannot mute the music.
Because you’r stuff is bad, you need to hear critics to improve.
