about me
Hi. My username is harvingel, but you can call me Brian. I’m 19 years old and I’m from the USA. I am a full-stack generalist programmer majoring in computer science. For your sake, I’m a scripter that specializes in Lua. I have been active on Roblox since 2009, and active in Lua scripting work since 2016. I own and run my own small studio under the name Stillapp.

Breakdown
[note- unfinished and abandoned] With this game, I aim to recreate Teardown down to a tee. The destruction physics are in a meditative state right now, because I’m patiently waiting for CSG v3. Said destruction physics include your run-of-the-mill SubtractAsync union operations, with a twist- fracturing. Using some complex functions, I made a system that can accurately cut away a portion of an object and create a new object with it- in a union. Aside from the destruction physics, there is gore, fire, guns, rockets, hammers, a tool gun, and some more neat stuff to see… also Roblox Universe integrations. (abandoned since 2022 waiting for CSG optimizations)

Perlin Noise 'Art'
One of my favorite projects. Includes infinitely-regenerating Perlin noise grids with heightmaps, color palletes, and lots of parts.
more stuff… look at the stuff below…!
I have done countless scripting commissions from Lua systems and HTML integrations to full-scale game development and client modifications.
Lots of my smaller projects are strewn across my socials, take a look at my ROBLOX profile or my inventory. Hundreds, if not thousands of hours of work, sit in my unfinished solo ventures, more so due to a lack of retention than a lack of motivation. I also sometimes post tidbits of solo projects on my YouTube channel.
