I have been working on a script for quite a while, everything was going fine and I published it so I could test the script (it works with datastore). That all went well for a while, untilI tried joining and it showed me an error with “Http request error” or something. Then, I tried to reupload the game, and it showed me “Fetch Failed”. After that, I started writing this topic and decided to try joining again, and it’s stuck on this:
Has my game been hacked? I did use a script that someone was selling which used HTTP requests but the person selling it sold it to other people who don’t have the issue.
This is the current state that Roblox is in. It has been like this for days now and I highly suspect it is due to “The Haunt.” These sorts of events always trigger performance issues because you have 1000’s of people trying to get into a small server of 30 people. The queue of players trying to join is constantly being flooded. The same way that remote events on Roblox run into problems when they don’t have a connection.
I didn’t say everything was back to normal, I was replying to myself where i said it would give me an error when i would try to join a game, and i don’t get anymore errors now.
