Has Roblox changed scaling and rotation?

Recently, I’ve been trying to build stuff in Roblox Studio, but there are some abnormalities occurring when I’m doing basic tasks such as skewering and manipulating parts using the building tools that Studio provides. Here are a few examples:

If anyone could clarifying if this is intentional or plausible solutions, that would be work wonders for me. Thank you for your time.

What is the problem that is happening? I cannot seem to find any problems.

It’s rotating the parts in a circular manner when I move the part, and I haven’t really experienced this ever

Another thing is the scaling. Usually when holding shift and sizing the parts in a certain axis, it would also increase the size on the other side as well

Have I opened or toggled some setting or something?

Control is used for increasing sizes in both axes. The shift key makes the whole thing larger.

Ah I see, I guess they change the keybinds for it when I updated.

I have no clue about the moving but Control is used for resizing parts in two directions and the shift key makes the part larger facing towards one direction.

I believe the keybinds were like this for awhile but I may be wrong.

For me, shift was always how you’d do that. Maybe I just changed my keybind settings one day, though I barely even touch it for building tools

You appear to have Constraints turned on, which might explain why the parts are rotating in that manner

You have constraints turned on, which could result to that, or you are using the local movement and rotation rather than the global one. To change the way you rotate something you can do CTRL + L. It switches it from local to global and is actually very handy.

But in this instance it does look like it’s due to constraints.

I use CTRL+L often to change my rotation setting, but i never knew it could do this with constraints turned on. Thanks

As @jonathanroxcp has noted before, your issue is constraints being turned on:

I’d recommend marking his as the solution if it fixed your problems.
