Recently, I’ve been trying to build stuff in Roblox Studio, but there are some abnormalities occurring when I’m doing basic tasks such as skewering and manipulating parts using the building tools that Studio provides. Here are a few examples:
If anyone could clarifying if this is intentional or plausible solutions, that would be work wonders for me. Thank you for your time.
It’s rotating the parts in a circular manner when I move the part, and I haven’t really experienced this ever
Another thing is the scaling. Usually when holding shift and sizing the parts in a certain axis, it would also increase the size on the other side as well
Have I opened or toggled some setting or something?
I have no clue about the moving but Control is used for resizing parts in two directions and the shift key makes the part larger facing towards one direction.
You have constraints turned on, which could result to that, or you are using the local movement and rotation rather than the global one. To change the way you rotate something you can do CTRL + L. It switches it from local to global and is actually very handy.
But in this instance it does look like it’s due to constraints.
