Marketing related questions:
I noticed this new category of games called “Sponsored” does that mean sponsoring a game only shows in this category now and not randomly? I don’t see any sponsored games in the popular category. How is this sponsored section organized? Is it based off of how much u sponsored it will push u higher?

to my knowledge they made this change quite a while ago
Oh I never realized it was changed for awhile now. Also on the wiki it still shows the old version so would anyone happen to know where I can look up details of how the new sponsorship works?

This type of sponsored games I don’t see anymore on the popular page so I can only guess it was removed. I guess the wiki hasn’t been updated or I’m missing something.

The simple answer is yes, this change went live for all players a while ago and from what I have seen it has gone through A/B testing. I would assume that the bigger your budget the more frequent your sponsored game will be shown in the sort - not necessarily higher.
Roblox has been very quiet about this change, it would have been nice if it was announced as it is a fairly significant change that directly impacts developers that actively market their games through the sponsoring system.
It appears to work the same way as usual in regards to impressions - it depends on how much you spend compared to other users. The only noticeable change I believe is the new game sort.

@lifacy @ValueKing I see so basically its the same thing as before but instead of randomly spread out its all in one page. Just out of curiosity, has anyone made any sponsors with the new setup and does it seem to give better or worse results than the old? If anyone knows, do normal ads do better or do sponsors do better?

As far as I know, with the new UI for creating sponsors, you can not look at old sponsors for some reason.
All of the old data is gone? So there really isn’t a way to compare unless someone has screenshots from their past sponsors or videos.
