Hat misplaced inside the head

So when public Ugc released I had a premade hat I made ago so I uploaded it now it looks misplaced and now looks like its inside the character and is there anyway to remesh the hat or get back my robux that I spent to it here’s a picture of it ingame

all I did is use the asset creator plugin and then when I made a rig its parent it looks like that I thought I can easily fix it by just moving it up so I did and when I uploaded it now it looks like this any suggestions on how to fix it?

Check the attachment in the head and accessory. You’ll need those to line up properly for the hat to appear right.

Use Roblox’s accessory fitting tool. If you used a 3rd party plugin, that may explain the unexpected behaviors.
