Hats are getting players stuck in the ground

  • Can-Collide-False items are acting “sticky” when making contact with solid objects like the ground.

  • Recently (past two weeks) if a character flips over in Jailbreak, or if they flip their police car with the can’t-collide police lights on top, they get stuck in the ground upside down. The vehicle/player acts attached to the ground, the ground usually being an in-game road from what I’ve seen. You can usually push the car around or try to use V to flip it but it’ll just slide around remaining stuck upside down. From what I’ve found you have to kill the player or apply an extreme amount of force on the vehicle to get out of this. Most players give up.

  • Not finding anything too consistent. Definitely happens to can’t collide items like hats or vehicle police lights. It happens often enough that I see a semi-steady flow of tweets about it throughout the day. x.com

  • I can’t find out if this happens in other games, but this is definitely happening in Jailbreak. I’ve experienced it myself a couple times now.

Thanks!

We’re having a similar issue in Vehicle Simulator when moving players/vehicles to the start points in a race (Acting like they’re anchored/welded) - hoping this gets resolved soon. I’ll post more info if I find anything.

Good to hear it’s not just us.

Here’s another user complaining about it. This time on the Roblox subreddit. He managed to get both himself and the vehicle stuck at the same time. It’s definitely common.

Does this seem to replicate the behavior users are reporting? PlaySolo + walk into red field.

Although I don’t have any examples that prove that this used to be resolve-able.

Yes, this is the same behavior I’ve noticed - it’s as if they’re anchored/have no control over their characters.

Yup that’s it as far as I can tell.
