As a Roblox developer, it is currently too hard to browse the Creator Marketplace for audio, especially the massive catalog uploaded by Roblox currently consisting of 1000+ pages that will be expanding all the way up to March 22nd. Roblox additionally removed filtering from searches so I can’t work my way starting from the most recently uploaded audio without adding the SortType parameter to the query.
If Roblox is able to address this issue, it would improve my development experience because I could comfortably and efficiently search for audio fitting the type of theme I’m going for without having to slog through the existing library to find what I need. The library may be extending but without proper search tooling it’s difficult to find fitting audio. For example, next to none of my experiences contain positive, upbeat and happy tones but that’s mostly all I find with my searches.
Audio search tooling is important and it’s probably one of the things that should’ve been addressed before the March 22nd deafening. I understand there may be some technical limitations or design decisions that make this infeasible or difficult to tackle but please remember who this is affecting and that’s us as developers on Roblox. We’ve long been subjected to updates without having appropriate alternatives to look to and it’s somewhat of a destructive cycle.
Please don’t talk about the audio update in the responses, this feature request is not about privacy configuration.
