Having trouble w/ animating non-humanoid with moon animator

You can write your topic however you want, but you need to answer these questions:

  1. What do you want to achieve? Keep it simple and clear!
hi, i’m trying to animate a wing on a plane using moon animator

  2. What is the issue? Include screenshots / videos if possible!
when i transform any one of the rigged parts in moon animator when its welded (or motor6d) to the actual wing (or any part for that matter), the part that it itself is attached to further down the tree is moved rather than the part i’m actually trying to move. i feel like i’ve had this behavior when animating humanoids with parts attached, but i’ve tried a bunch of things (ie checking if the part is anchored) and i still get the same result.
to sum it up, only the part furthest down in the hierarchy can move freely, but any other parts move all the parts before them in the hierarchy.
i’m sure this video will explain better than that attempt so here:

  1. What solutions have you tried so far? Did you look for solutions on the Developer Hub?
i’ve updated moon animator, asked around in multiple discord servers including moon animator’s own, i tried using moon animator’s “clean” feature, using duplicated parts, using newly inserted parts, not sure what to next really, that’s why I’m here, hope u guys can help!

really sorry this is so incoherent, but i’ve decided to keep my rudimentary explanation just in case.

It says it’s out of date at the top.

Read the red words…

Uhhhhghghgjgj

Thanks for replying, I ended up updating the plugin after I took the video, same result. I asked my question again in the moon animator discord, and it turns out I needed to have my BasePart anchored, whoops! Hope this can help someone in the future, though.
