Having trouble with making shirt - beveled torso edges messed up in studio

Hello, everyone.

So I am trying to make a shirt for my friend’s game, but when I import the decal of the shirt that I’ve made to studio and put it on my humanoid, the shirt displays incorrectly on the beveled edges.

Here is what I mean:

Here is a snippet of the outfit’s texture as well, if that might help:

Am I using an outdated template? I don’t see why I would be, since I’m using the template from the developer page - Making Avatar Clothing

If someone could share some insight on my situation, that would be great!

I have been getting this problem too…
I don’t know the solution though.

There is a problem with your template! I found your problem you overlook a small mess up with the clothing very small but can still be seen there is error with the hoodie of your shirt design and because the r6 humanoid has round edges it’s even more noticeable. I would suggest to fix the error shown in the picture and that will solve your problem! Your clothing just needs a little bit of clean up that’s all have a good day!

There’s nothing wrong with Roblox Studio this is just a minor error with the clothing some cleanup is needed, shown in the last image when zoomed in.

What kind of cleanup? I’m not quite following.

If you zoom in you can see the error which is causing the problem, not studio the shirt template just has some minor flaws the template isn’t the problem the shirt is.

You could try to Remove the texture overlaps and keep the white edges preserved that might improve the situation on the front

Normally I’m sure that would definitely work, but I did some testing and added two straight lines onto the template, and uploaded it as an decal. And I still get the same results.

It’s still curving for some reason, despite the fact that the lines are perfectly straight.

Perfectly, straight. :confounded:

Surely it’s not the boarder of the template that’s causing it, right? I don’t see why that would make a difference.

This is defiantly a bug but if you move the lines to the center a bit you could make them line up.

In what way should I center them?

Like move the parts that are bending out inwards so the top and bottoms match up.

I may or may not know what you mean, but I tried doing what you said to the best of my understanding. But the results are mostly still the same, unfortunately.

It’s almost like it’s producing a line that isn’t even there, but at the same time, it is? This is really getting on my nerves. All I want to do is make an outfit, and I can’t even do that for some strange reason.

try reinstalling studio, sometimes studio can be stupid and the only way to fix it is to download a fresh copy.

Don’t get too annoyed and upset. Just step away from ur device and then come back. It might clear up your head and make you feel better. Keep trying!!! :grinning:
