So traditionally headless head was never able to be seen. Roblox originally made it so the mesh is so small that the engine doesn’t really “render” the mesh. The head appears in any game you play as long as you are in HumanoidRigType R6 (Glitch doesn’t occur in R15)
Computer specs;
GPU: RTX 4070 TI
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5800X3D
RAM: 32GB (2x16) 3600Mhz (Running at 2400Mhz at the moment.)
OS: Windows 11, Version 23H2 (OS Build 22631.4460)
Roblox Client: version-a35d937606da489c
How do I replicate this?
Go ingame, make sure you have headless horseman head equipped and make sure you are in HumanoidRigType R6. Then point your camera from your torso upward towards the sky. You should be able to see a tiny sphere. That is your “headless head” which shows ingame.
Expected behavior
I am not sure how we can achieve this but I am hoping we can make headless horseman head no longer visible again. Possibly make the mesh smaller?
At this point, it’s hilarious that they still haven’t fixed this because even bundle creators somehow manage to make the head’s mesh get deleted and then have the bundle restored, ending up with a completely invisible head. Yet Roblox, operating its own platform, can’t do better.
theres a chance that thats just a part thats made to be as small as possible with no mesh,
edit: it also could be that the mesh was deleted but not the part
I can see that clearly yes, but cmon what actually is the motive of this post, I understand it’s to fix it being visible but it doesn’t affect you financially, mentally or physically…
I am not the only one who recently noticed this. I don’t think its a big deal but it’d definitely be nice if roblox fixed it. I mean look at the UGC fakes and you can’t see the head but with the real deal you can? Seems kinda sad no?
Unfortunately, there’s not really much we are going to be able to do about this. The mesh can’t get any smaller, and we want to avoid doing special things like making the head transparent, since it could interfere with developers’ code (e.g. scripts that make the player invisible, then make the player reappear).
