Help and Feedback on this castle?

Hi.

So I am trying to make a full scale map by having a Castle as an iconic area however, I am running out of ideas what to place in certain areas.

This is our re-imagination of The Red Keep.

What I am looking for is feedback on these areas:

First level

The forest you spawn in

There are definitely other areas we need to add but lets focus on what we have right now.

What we are looking for is some feedback, what we should implement into the areas (could provide some references) and what could be changed in the build.
And obviously this is in very early development.

In the pictures it looks pretty good but, there are some room for improvements. Make sure the land would look endless instead of having a death pit at the edge of the cliff. I suggest making a hill/mountain or a wall to make sure it looks natural. Inside the castle in the yard, it looks very empty. I suggest maybe adding props, trees, plants so it doesn’t look like a horror game unless, that’s what you wanted.

weird terrain ive seen those trees somewhere but i cant remember where and theres effects under the map

I’ll be giving credit to the owners of their respective models, the assets on the floor are just temporary.
What could I do with the terrain to make it a bit more better?

The terrain, though clearly unfinished, is very nice so far in the main parts. The buildings ranging from villages, scattered props like the elevator, room decor, garden and that very iconic cannon in the spawn which I loved to the bigger builds like the bridge and general geometrical placement of each region is perfect and detailed.

Regarding what you need to improve, taking into consideration this entire thing is on very early development, in the first level you could add a few more statue stands as I’ve understood you’re gonna be displaying people throughout the castle. For the forest bit, if you want to call it a forest you’re gonna have to expand the land by a significant lot along with the village as there are currently only 4 houses, that is, unless you’re trying to take a more “isolated island” approach which would go against your original intention of recreating The Red Keep. Also, you might want to add more details in the walls outside the castle and the top of the roofs.

I don’t know how to help you with terrain as I’m pretty bad at it but I’ve heard it’d help if you had a template of where to create it, what I’m saying is you can make terrain made of parts and use them as a guide/template of where to make terrain by “drawing” on top of them (please remember to remove the parts afterwards, it’ll be pretty laggy for no reason)

Overall, it’s a really great design just like your previous builds for a few groups I happened to visit several times - Keep it up! :smiley:

I would suggest adding some lights and a bit more decorations to make it more complicated, otherwise, GREAT!

Tees is looking pretty good if the castle is 100% done that would be lovely to see and improve your terrains like add hills and realistic grass on it.

I’ll be adding the grass eventually just not now at the moment because my PC isn’t that good. My FPS in ROBLOX Studio will drop :sweat_smile:.
