As a Roblox developer, it is currently too hard to gather ideas for a resource or something, I had to put this post in #development-discussion which ended up being taken down for “Incorrect Use of the Development Discussion Category”, I believe it was a fair takedown, but someone wanted the topic to stay up which I hardly disagreed on

If Roblox is able to address this issue, it would improve my experience using the forum because I am able to easily ask for ideas without worrying for the topic to be taken down

Why don’t you use #help-and-feedback:game-design-support?

That is a partial solution if you’re asking for game ideas, but If you are asking for resource ideas etc. it won’t do work in #help-and-feedback:game-design-support

Using #help-and-feedback:game-design-support can be used to get game ideas, just not resource ideas.

If you’re genuinely interested in solving an existing issue, I don’t think you need a topic for that at all. As you can see in your own “plugin ideas” topic and your flagged “module ideas” topic, it doesn’t actually yield the responses you need. The best plugins are caused by developers facing an issue, then finding a solution for this problem. They don’t do it for money, and they don’t do it for the sake of making a plugin either.
