Greetings recently I have been really confused why my new game icon has only been getting “0.15%” CTR with a brand new game icon that I find really good, but since I am new to the development community I have no idea what younger audiences think looks good and wish to click on when they see my Sponsored Game Advertisement.
Does anyone know what game icon would get more clicks/CTR please note them down so I can learn.
*Please showcase some of your previous game icons that succeeded for your game because I as a game creator would learn a lot.
(Please respond if you are experienced with creating games and know what game icon usually gets popular and more CTR.)
Sponsors usually get a very low CTR anyways, as players simply skim over the games. The icon is good, but I would recommend maybe to change the face (make it slightly happier, looks a little creepy), and to add text. Make sure the text stands out, use bright colours that attract people’s attention.
If you take a look at the trending games, all of their icons are very bright, with the game name on the icon.
The main thing I would say is that your icon does not have the actual game’s name on it. When people see a sponsored game, they are normally scrolling through games looking for something new or interesting, and if your game’s name is as interesting as the icon itself then that would improve your ctr.
