I’ve always wanted to learn about scripting. But i don’t know where and how to start. Could anyone please help me?

I learned the basics by reading scripts in free models from the toolbox and then trying to improve them.
edit: Also, Ui related things are easy to script so it may be a good place to start.

If you would like some scripts to use as examples I can send you a few easy ones and explain how they work. Totally fine if that’s not the kind of help you’re looking for, goodluck learning lua.
scripting is cool and kinda easy
there are a few issues that sometimes u get an model/engine and cannot really code much stuff in it
yet other stuff aside u can do stuff as like you want if is possible

Personally, I learnt the basics of scripting as of now by watching YouTube tutorials, studying other scripts ,and for beginners, AI can be your help too(massive warning here that AI won’t always be correct, and one of the best use cases for AI in scripting is fixing errors and issues with scripts, but AI isn’t to be relied on), from which in turn you slowly start learning how and what to script, YouTube tutorials though might be one of the better methods(after all, you would be taught by well experienced people about Roblox Studio, it’s features, and other main aspects. Learning Lua isn’t supposed to happen in seconds of course, but I highly recommend checking out on YouTube more about Lua and it’s basics, and specifically, I’d like to assume you’re learning all this for Studio, in that case, the basics of scripting in Roblox Studio). Best of luck learning Lua though, I hope my suggestions will help you well.
