Hello! I had been struggling to pick out the correct shape for my ui layout for a game, and wondering yall’s opinion on how to go about it. Here’s how everything looks as of now:
There’s not much to give feedback on at the moment; it’s simple, so I can recommend looking at other games and picking out parts you like. Generally, games should have a cohesive style, but where buttons are positioned and whatnot might be interesting.
I’ll also say don’t add extra buttons for the sake of it, like have things that function with your game in mind. If you have money, maybe use the PlayerList or some UI on the screen. Stuff like that.
Thanks! I do agree that there’s too many buttons that I added which I’ll remove some. As my game is more of a cartoonish style, do you recommend any website or services I can use to look up any good examples (used to look on behance but that site is sort of mid for roblox UI’s).
Thanks for the suggestion! Although I did use Figma earlier on, I realized that it decreased the amount of memory on my drive too quickly hence I switched over to studio.
In the user interface on the right, I notice that the UIStrokes of the frames seem to cut off on the left and top. This is easily fixed by using UIPadding.
Another thing is I feel like the Price text is slightly too small for how much room each Frame has, but thats in my opinion.
I also notice your Exit button on that frame is out of place/doesn’t follow the color scheme of the user interface fully.
I also noticed a lighter gray background that was un-centered, but I also don’t know if that is intentional or not
Overall, this user interface is pretty solid, other than a few very small issues that the average person doesn’t really care about too much.
