Help "welding" a armatured tool to a rig in blender

My goal is to animate the player wielding a bending staff and I’m not sure where to go now.

The first image is what I have the in the scene, a pole that is already rigged up, and a player that is already rigged up. And the second image and just what my collection hierarchy looks like.

I need help on how I would sort of weld the staff to the character’s humanoidRootPart so that when I animate in blender and import it into Roblox the animations will be able to play together.
