Would a game about protesting and rioting be against the tos?
I don’t think so, I don’t really see any thing in the Roblox Terms of Use that talks about protesting, rioting or hating.
Wouldn’t it be an issue since it’s “the opposing view”?
This very heavily depends on what your game is about. If it’s a virtual Black Lives Matter protest or something, I think that would be fine. However, if it’s depicting violence against certain groups, against the police or a major organization, or generally using hateful beliefs, it might not be a good idea. Along with this, will this game incite different beliefs that could cause harm in the real world, such as promoting ideas like “Don’t wear masks” “Vaccines cause autism” or anything else that could make people decide not to adhere to safety guidelines then yeah, I think that might not be the best idea. However, this is just my personal opinion, I’m not sure exactly what would be a violation of the TOS
Well what about a game based of a rioting society where people can riot and loot stuff?
Should be fine, I’ve seen similar games
Can you help me check if it’s 100% sure? I don’t wanna get content deleted
Okay so if your game is about an incident that took place irl then I’m pretty sure it is against the Roblox TOS
I would not recommend an idea like that.
Yes but rebrand as maybe more of stealing simulator. The riot name part might make it against TOS since it is a recent and even offensive event to some.
Anyone able to help? Still not 100% solved
