I have a custom rig with a modesty layer that I’m adding separately for customization. The layer is rigged the same as the custom rig.
I can’t find a way to attach the bones of the modesty layer to the attachment points of the custom rig. Using rigid constraints will either glitch out the bones/rig attachments or prevent animations from playing properly due to limbs being stuck.
Currently, I tried to attach the bones to attachments inside of parts within the modesty layer mesh, which would then be attached to the rig’s meshes via weld constraints, but that also has not given me proper results and keeps the rig’s lower torso ‘anchored’ when it’s not at all.
(Ignore that last part, stuff was anchored. But rigid constraints still keep limbs stiff.)
Is there a proper method to attaching a separate rigged mesh to a custom character that will allow the rig to move around properly?
