So today I was banned for uploading this specific audio right here, which is iron scraping from Iron Lung (The Game that markiplier is making a movie out of), and I was wondering since I got banned for this, would I get banned once again for uploading this audio? (None of these are copyrighted by the way)
(Both of these are loud)
This is the audio that got me banned
I’ve tried contacting support for this but they didn’t give me an answer as if it would get me banned or not so I’m asking here since I do not want to get banned once again for another week/day.
Maybe try changing the pitch a bit? It indeed is very loud and maybe due to that roblox banned you? I suppose to prevent the people from getting their ears destroyed.
Try lowering the sound and pitch and then in roblox increase the pith using the sfx instance as well as the volume.
The audio is private is the thing, no one is going to hear it, and not to mention it’s louder than it seems because in studio audios are lowered for some reason
I see, if that is the case for fun and testing purposes then I would say that you edit the sound a bit more or why not make it yourself? Just grab a bar and run it around on a metal surface. If it is for testing and fun then quality won’t really matter. Unless, if you want to finalise it then you can find some sounds online.
That’s the thing. I can’t really edit the audio because it’s from someone else’s game. I got permission to upload it from them (Despite the audios not being theirs but from Iron Lung) and I got banned for a day because of it being sped up despite it not being a copyright sound or audio. This just discourages me from uploading any sort of audio even if it’s online as I don’t want to risk my account getting banned for a stupid reason like this once again.
Oh… I am still questioning on how the audio is also against Roblox. Also, there is no need to be discouraged with uploading sounds on roblox. Just, don’t upload sharp and high pitched noises and you would be good.
I find that unfair as various popular games (Doors, The Mimic, etc) for example all have those high pitched screeches and stuff yet they don’t get moderated.
Maybe they toned it down then pitched it up again like I mentioned above. Maybe I am wrong about the high pitched thing as well. Can you not just edit the sound in an online sound editing platform?
Too me they seem absurdly loud. It is also out of nowhere. In Doors and such, you can tell that it’s going to get louder. In this, It’s just a loud noise all of a sudden.
Uh that’s how roblox audio works, and I’m using that in roblox? It’s not going to be a literal jumpscare with no indicator, Roblox Doors audio fades in because of the monster coming in from the distance, so they’re using a loud audio to begin with.
