Hey, so I’m making a game and thought wouldn’t a casino feature be cool to add in where people can spend their money and try their luck. So my partner is currently scripting casino games for the casino. We have one Spin The Wheel and one “Lucky Slider” (basically you have to stop the moving part as close as possible to the green line). But now we don’t really know what else to add. Our goal is to have a lot of different casino games to fill out the casino with including one special one for the Casino Membership gamepass. So if you have any casino games ideas or other ideas about the Casino Membership features or whatever it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Hmm. Seems like this is turning into one of those casino video games. Not sure if roblox supports this but as long as it doesn’t encourage bad practises or infringe the user in any way, shape or form, i guess it’s okay. I just don’t know about this idea, considering roblox consists of a wide platform with users of various ages.
Maybe a card randomizer?
Since there are about 24 cards, and you’d have 2 cards be randomized. If the player guess both right the player wins, if the player guess one right, they’ll get one free chance to guess again or lose the whole thing completely.
or a roulette
To an extent, yeah. As long as you’re the player is knowing what they have a chance of getting and you’re not gambling currency or limiteds.
Alot of big games have “Spin the Wheel” or Roulette that you have to pay robux for, so it shouldn’t be nothing big I guess.
I understand your concern here. But I can ensure you that this is a fun feature and nothing that’s there to encourage them to do bad practices
I feel like making a casino game is very risky. In ToS, you can’t promote gambling in your games.
If I were you, I’d stray away from this idea and think of something else.
But hey, I’m not entirely sure. I mean Reason 2 Die has a whole Roulette table in their game.
The casino minigames will cost a smaller amount of robux and will get you roughly the same amount of coins as you would if you would just buy coins. So this is more of just a fun way to buy coins instead of just straight up buying them. So I wouldn’t see this as promoting gambling cause you can’t lose coins.
Try not to use currency which can be bought directly or indirectly with robux as it is not a good idea and will get your game removed. However if you do so, you have to list down the chances of getting the price. Pet systems which require you to buy an egg to get an unknown pet is considered gambling. So I suggest you list down the chances and also try giving out virtual items as a reward
I’m pretty sure your not allowed to make casino type games because of gambling.
Isn’t Casions violate ToS? I Wouldnt risk it
Gambling is permitted under the condition that it is impossible to purchase the currency used for it. The currency must be purely earnable by playing the game and completing tasks. All such games must also have an equal chance and a fair algorithm implemented so that the player is not rigged up to lose.
If Robux is involved in any step of the process, it is a violation of the rules and can result in punishment up to the loss of your account. Therefore, you should keep any gambling item separate from Robux-involved items.
If you want to play it very safe, use gambling tokens (a separate currency explicitly for gambling). These tokens can be earned by playing the game and only by playing the game. Such tokens can be one-way exchanged for game currency to buy other things but game currency cannot be used to purchase such tokens.
Indeed, if you can buy tokens with robux its violate too. I never thought bout it
this may not exactly be an idea, but whatever you do DO NOT make it P2W and if it is, make it very minor
and if u can, just dont Id also advice to put some sort of cooldown that cant be skipped
This game would be good for the ToS… unless there is this:
You are NOT able to make your currency able to be bought with Robux. The currency HAS to be completely earned.
Hey, thanks for all the replies. Let me explain this a bit more thoroughly. I’m making some minigames on the side of the main objective of the game (that you can play while in the lobby) as a more fun way than just buying the coins (which you also could). You can also earn the coins by playing. With these minigames there are no way to lose coins however you can get a smaller amount of coins if you’re not as good/lucky. And I don’t see how this can be against ToS considering the biggest games out there uses these strategies. For example Case Clicker has cases that you can buy with money earned OR bought with robux. You can then get lucky and sell the stuff for more coins or get really unlucky and lose the coins. I see that as gambling. There are also other examples of this where you can buy coins or earn coins to buy cases and either get lucky or unlucky and lose the stuff. I’d love to hear what you guys think about this and if you still are sure that it violates the rules. Thanks!
Pets system which makes you buy eggs to get a random pet is also considered gambling
I Dont think so. So you mean the egg system in Adopt Me?
Yes, it is. But you do not violate the rule if you list the chances of getting the specific rarity or item
Then how Adopt Me still available? Are you sure it says like that in ToS
They listed down the chances of getting the specific rarity which would allow the game to be up
