Hello, so I have this partially thought up game idea. It’s going to be similar to Super Paper Mario, as in it’s going to be 2D, the view when you walk into buildings will be similar, you can make recipes, etc.
The thing is, I don’t want to make the “main thing” fighting monsters to get coins. You’re still going to collect coins I just don’t want to include the monsters. I had an idea, such as controlling some sort of vehicle with commands, but what would be the purpose of controlling it? Is the player searching for something, completing puzzles? Maybe not include the vehicle and the player is just completing puzzles? I’m hoping to include some sort of storyline along the way. Does anyone have any ideas for what could be the “main thing” for my game?
