As you can see, it should be all sand, and no grass because the photo was taken underwater.
Possibly your MapHeight is set above 0. Try adjusting the Y axis values corresponding to the water level and below.
Just as you replied I figured out the solution. I was mistaking the first modifying values as how far from the origin the material could spawn, not their height like I thought the second ones were. Now I fixed it, but if you are knowledgeable about the plugin, I still have a few lingering questions. What do the second modifiers with materials do, what are the modifiers for noise, and finally what are the modifiers for models? Sorry, but the video guide I found a little confusing and process information much better when I can see it in writing.
