Help with making a chart of my game

Hello everyone!

I’m still fairly new to the devforum (even though I’ve been developing professionally for nearly five years) so just let me know if I messed this post up somehow.

I’m trying to make a map of my game. Something where you’d click a “Map” button on the screen or something and it would bring up a full screen map of the game. I’ve got the scripting down, but I can’t figure out how to actually get a picture of my game from the top down view. I had been using a plugin that made the camera look straight down, and allowed me to adjust the FOV and height of the camera, which allowed me to accomplish this. But that plugin has since disappeared off the face of ROBLOX, so I’m lost. Anyone have any way I can do this?

You can achieve a perfect top-down view by using the view selector that roblox introduced a few months ago. You can find this in the view tab if you have this disabled. Once you’ve enabled this, select the TOP view option on the view selector.

You can also adjust the camera FOV by selecting the camera object in the explorer and adjusting the fov slider.
