So I want to make the orange part have the material appearance of the first image (that roblox glass look), however, when I add a texture to add text, it removes that glass-like appearance, and the material becomes rather dull. How to fix this?

Since you’re adding a texture its overlaying over the base Roblox glass texture. If it’s a mesh texture there isn’t really any help and you’d need to texture it yourself in blender but, if it’s a Roblox texture (one you insert inside of a part) altering with the textures transparency in it’s properties should do the trick, it just comes at the cost of a dimmer text appearance.
