Im trying to make a very simple menu gui. My problem is I have three bars that I need to fit in this squareish frame and it looks awkward in between the text and the buttons. Any suggjestion on what to change? (I cant change the shape of the largest frame, because this one is for mobile users.
Also do you think I should make the X less thick?
I think the awkwardness you’re sensing is because of the size of the font and the line thickness.
The X and the Icons have a similar line thickness (the bug is slightly thinner) but the “Menu” and the titles of the other bars have their own. (the text size on the “Achievements” looks smaller than the other two, that could just be me though)
Assuming you don’t want to change the Icons, I recommend making the font slightly bigger or the X thinner like the “Menu”.
Additionally, the main body chat of the 3 bars doesn’t take up as much space as it could. Make the font bigger so that it’s easier to read (esp on mobile) but not too big that it cometes with the headers. Also, the text on the buttons could take up more of the button space.
I think it looks better! Do you think so? (most important)
