But we all know that roblox is nowhere near that level of photorealistic rendering
However, when i first imported this table in roblox i’ve been negatively surprised, because the engine downscaled my texture
OK, my bad, didn’t know that roblox wanted 1024x1024 texture maps
So I’ve split my model into two parts, the top of the table and the leg of it for texture quality reasons.
And I imported it again
Wait. What’s the difference between those two? (ignore the leg color)
Let’s look closer
Comparison
For comparison purposes we will have the new table on the left and the old one on the right
You can’t do anything about this. Unless you make a high res mesh which you won’t do obviously, there is nothing else you could do to add a realistic normal map to it.
i amnot sure but i think u used a texture only
you can use surface appearance and bake metallic /roughness /normal (maps) and use them to make it similar to how it looks in blender
did you use the same UV and texture in blender/studio? the difference between the 2 is very big
and make sure that when exporting the texture the Compression option wasnot set too high
yes ik that i mean when exporting textures in blender there is a compress option that make images lose quality did you set it to smt very high? like 50%+
