Help with PBR details

Insane Level of Detail for PBR textures?

So I’ve been making this model, and made a texture for it.
The concept looks like this

But we all know that roblox is nowhere near that level of photorealistic rendering
However, when i first imported this table in roblox i’ve been negatively surprised, because the engine downscaled my texture

OK, my bad, didn’t know that roblox wanted 1024x1024 texture maps
So I’ve split my model into two parts, the top of the table and the leg of it for texture quality reasons.
And I imported it again

Wait. What’s the difference between those two? (ignore the leg color)
Let’s look closer

Comparison

For comparison purposes we will have the new table on the left and the old one on the right

Guess which one is the new one. It’s the left one
It’s like they’re the exact same thing

The normals look kinda the same.

Roblox vs Concept

Let’s talk a bit about the concept
The table is a supossedly sci fi war map strategy table
And so i’ve equipped it with dark wood and steel grating

Look at the details on the noprmal map and metallic parts
Is there any way to get high level of detail on the textures?

Those are the same details but on roblox

Thanks,
Tem

You can’t do anything about this. Unless you make a high res mesh which you won’t do obviously, there is nothing else you could do to add a realistic normal map to it.

I would really like the grating on the black part of the table
Is it any way that i could achieve it without a special mesh for it?

i amnot sure but i think u used a texture only
you can use surface appearance and bake metallic /roughness /normal (maps) and use them to make it similar to how it looks in blender

I used SurfaceAppearance unfortunatelly

did you use the same UV and texture in blender/studio? the difference between the 2 is very big
and make sure that when exporting the texture the Compression option wasnot set too high

I baked the textures and then exported them into separate pngs of 1024x1024

Example:

normal
roughness
metallic

yes ik that i mean when exporting textures in blender there is a compress option that make images lose quality did you set it to smt very high? like 50%+

it’s set to 15%

Yeah but not 3d sadly. Roblox is just not that good for that.
