Help with render on blender

So I rendered my gfx from blender into a png so it’s transparent. The problem is that its shows the background is transparent in the finished render with the gray and white checkered pattern but, when I save it as a png from the finished render, and I open it up from my desktop, it shows that background is just plain old black.

Any help?

I kinda don’t understand. Can you show a picture?

I was just thinking the same thing @Xazonen.

yea sure (30 charsssssssssssssssssss)

I think what you mean is that the background is black only because you opened it in Photos. When opened in that application, it just shows itself as black in accordance with your system theme and colours. The background is transparent.

Unless I misunderstood.

To make sure it is transparent, open it in a photo editing software such as paint.net or Photoshop.

well i tried opening it up in photoshop and it came up with a black background as well

You used Blender, correct? Did you make sure you set the Alpha to transparent?

yes i used blender and i set it to transparent (like the one under film and you click transparent)

Do you have Background Images enabled?

If so, disable it.

ummm i pretty new to blender and everything so i just needed some help and where is that exactly?

uh so show a picture from render( upload it while responding to me) I’m no blender expert but I used to use it before so I’ll try to help. Just a thing, if you’re using “cycles” then go to shading and remove alpha.

oh yea im using cycles lemme do that rq

I believe it is under Motion Tracking.

Did you also make sure to set the output option to RGBA? (same section as Transparent Alpha)

here it is

i did not set it to rgba thanks and im still trying to find the motion tracking

What does it look like in photoshop?

like this

If you’re using Adobe Photoshop, you can use Magic wand to remove the effect. Otherwise I suggest doing this in Blender eevee if you are not already.

it was already disabled  30 charss
