Hi, I’d like to achieve getting steering wheel orientation -
What is the issue? Include screenshots / videos if possible!
I was trying to first see what the steering wheel rotate input was, but that failed. I am unable to get it’s orientation. -
What solutions have you tried so far? Did you look for solutions on the Developer Hub?
Only tried checking rotate input, no luck. Looked on devforum, nothing.

Sadly no, I mean an actual steering wheel that you can plug into your computer.
what……? um i am pretty sure this isn’t a thing unless im wrong, i dont know much about this kind of stuff. could you explain more??
So, in couple of stores you can find steering wheels which are meant for consoles which allow you to simulate a real car while playing. However most of them support computers, which is what I am doing at the moment. It’s pretty much like regular wheel but for computers. In reality they are just xbox or ps controllers however they physically look like wheel and work like a wheel.
I don’t really have a Steering wheel lyin around but I think you can get the rotation of it by using
thoze? GetUserCFrame, once again I don’t actually have one so I don’t know how it workz, do you have one and if so can you test it out with a lil code?
Sadly, no that doen’t work. :GetUserCFrame won’t work without argument, which only supports VR and trying the Gyro method won’t do stuff.
You can use an app like x360ce to convert the input from the steering wheel to xbox controller thumbstick axis. Still it’s a really bad solution as players won’t bother doing the same process to make it work unless you’re doing it only for yourself.
