Help With Texturing

Alright so, I want to go out of my comfort zone and texture this model for a raptor game I’m working on with @Nyapaw .

I’m just wondering, how would I go on to texture the multiple objects this model has, and make it blend together? If anyone could lead me in the right direction, thank you!

First I suggest you learn how to UnWrap your mesh…

I mostly use texture painting to mark different faces with straight lines to easily orientate in image editors. But as @Axcerious said, most issues can be avoided by correctly unwrapping the meshes. For example, each of your tail segments should be unwrapped the same way so that they form a straight surface that can be easily textured.
