Properties, functions and events that are not inherited can not be collapsed, there is no hide button. The hide button only shows for things that are inherited

I’m pretty sure this is intended. After all, why would you want to hide that information? You actively sought it out in order to end up on that page.
If you’re looking up information on a specific Instance, you’re likely not interested in what’s inherited. That’s why that information can be hidden.

For example, if I’m looking for a specific function in a BasePart, I want to hide the huge list of properties on the BasePart page (BasePart | Documentation - Roblox Creator Hub)
