Your model looks nice, although some areas look a little off and could use some fine-tuning.
Some more specific feedback:
The proportions are off. The gun should be preferably a little wider, especially in the trigger guard and hammer regions. Always have multiple reference images from several angles, don’t just use side views.
Texturing: The way you texture is entirely dependent on how you want your models to look- however, the metal texture on the gun is definitely too bumpy and rough. If you’re texturing in substance, consider experimenting with different materials, and add smaller details if you can. If you’re texturing in blender, there’s plenty of good texture node setups you can find online. I would experiment with them until you find one you like. In general try to keep colors and material types consistent with each other through the model, and only vary them for different parts (ex: a plastic grip vs. a metal lower and slide)
Polygon count is high. If you’re making this as a high-poly model for baking or just as a showcase model, the polycount is fine- but if you’re aiming to use this for a game, definitely try to keep polygon counts under 10k (preferably lower if you can)
Other than that, you’ve made a pretty nice model. The best thing you can do is keep modeling because experience will be your best teacher
Thanks for the nice feedback! Here are my answers to your suggestions though:
I made this according to a refrence and mine and the refrence’s propotions are almost the same.
As I have mentioned that I suck at texturing, but I will keep this suggestion in mind for my next model! Thanks! Also I won’t be using those textures in my game, I will be using roblox’s default material textures. (Saying this because the entire gun would be textured metal)
I did lower it till 15,900 tris though. But, now that I look at it, it kinda does not appeal to me much but at the same time the quality is not completely diminished. I may actually do this for the game. Thanks! But the topology is completely screwed and the topology looks horrific.
