Group icons uploaded with high-quality images are displayed in low resolution when viewing the group’s details page. The icons appear fine on the left sidebar where groups you have joined are listed. However, when clicking on a group to view its details, or analyzing groups from the search results page, the displayed image is noticeably low quality.
Reproduction Steps
Method 1: From the Groups Page
Navigate to the Groups page on Roblox.
Select a group that has a high-quality icon uploaded.
Observe the group icon in the left sidebar—it appears in high resolution.
Click on the group to view its details.
Observe the group icon on the details page—it appears in low resolution.
The group icon should retain high resolution and quality on all parts of the Groups page, including the details page and any accessed groups from the search results.
Actual Behavior
The group icon appears in low resolution on the details page, which is inconsistent with the high-quality version displayed on the left sidebar or in the search results.
Hi @JuanGamerPlayz_RBLX! Thanks for bringing this to our attention, sorry for the late response! Upon investigating, we found both icons should be being displayed in the same resolution (150px by 150px). The icon in the group details page may appear worse resolution because it’s larger. Hope this helps!
Thank you for addressing this with your response! I honestly thought the ideal would be to offer it in different resolutions so users could see what the icon is trying to convey without being blurred or pixelated. Still, since the intended design is 150px by 150px, I now understand the situation.
