So this is gonna be pretty short but highlights are still very glitchy both in studio and game, and if you’re looking how to make them a bit less glitchy when struggling here’s how.
Never reparent a highlight or change adornee this causes bugs!
if you’re changing the highlight parent or the object it’s inside of’s parent then create a new highlight following instructions below.
When making highlights:
- create new highlight instance
- set adornee
- set any colors or info u want
- set parent
removing/changing highlights
- DISABLE highlight first
- Delete highlight
(if you’re changing the parent then create a new highlight following instructions above)!
Fun little ball I used highlights on:
-Create new highlights when u throw in the character and ball (after the ball is reparented to workspace from the character).
-Disabled then delete highlights when it lands.
