Hinges glitching out

I was making hinges for a Ferris Wheel for our Water Park, and it has a few bugs. So when one player sits on the ferris wheel, the other player sees them as stationary, and often the ferris wheel will take time to load. There’s only 6 hinges on it, and it’s been a really pressing issue.

I’ve tried making the entire ferris wheel local, however then none of the hinges load at all.

Why are the hinges so glitchy? They weren’t made via script, they were made by clicking and dragging. The old hinges were much more simple.

Could it be that the Ferris wheel is too big and the lag causes other players to see another person that is sitting on it stationary?

It’s quite small actually, so i don’t think so

Could there be any parts or decals that could be causing lag? Also, if this isn’t the only ride there is, could it be other rides that are causing that lag?

No, it’s only like 2 parts. It’s almost as if the joints are local but they aren’t

In your post, you said that you had old hinges. Why not use those again? Also, maybe it could be a visual bug or something.

I considered using old hinges again, but it’s confusing why the new one’s don’t work at all

If the old hinges work better than the new ones, I would use the old ones. Perhaps it a way that the hinges were placed or something.

The hinges themselves work. But they glitch out for different players and act like they’re local sided, rather than server side like every other part. Also I believe the old one’s are deprecated

This is very confusing. I don’t use hinges that often. I’m sorry, but I really don’t know what to say.

This could be because the Ferris wheel itself is too heavy for the hinge to hold onto, perhaps try making the Ferris wheel weightless. This can be achieved by selecting a part and selecting “weightless” to true.

The hinges are actually connecting, but they’re acting as if they’re localized. So they will work for a single player in a server alone, but not for multiple.
