Hint button from the DualSense gamepad is displayed when player uses Dualshock gamepad on PC

When player uses DualShock gamepad, the “Create Button” button from DualSense is displayed. We use UserInputService | Documentation - Roblox Creator Hub for our project and we saw that ⚽ Super Striker League 🎃 - Roblox dualshock works as it should (hint button create is displayed when player uses dualshock) but does not work in our case for some reason.

Game: Playgrounds Basketball - Roblox
Platform: PC
Repro Frequency: 100%
Steps:

  1. Make sure that the DualShock gamepad is connected
  2. Launch the game
  3. Pay attention to the hint button

Expected behavior

Dualshock Share hint button displayed if player use Dualshock on PC

Hi!

Thanks for pointing this out. I believe you’re providing custom assets for the keycode? If so, then currently it’s not possible to distinguish between the DualShock and DualSense controllers. The reason the game you linked worked correctly is because they’re using the Roblox provided assets.
