About The Job
We are looking for animators who have experience in animating between two players. The way our game works is by animation event triggers. In the same way, the wrestling games created by 2K work, we are essentially trying to make an arcade wrestling game on the Roblox platform, but making it multiplayer accessible and better than what 2K and other companies have done with the genre thus far.
The animations themselves are essentially short. They are player interactions with other players which is not typically seen within a Roblox game. Due to Roblox not having a means of Player vs Player contact, we are seeking an alternative, playing animations with effects at the end. What this means is, when a player walks up to another player and they press a key, they trigger an animation event.
During these animation events, there are two separate animations playing at the same time, but together they look like one seamless animation. So essentially the animator will be paid per move, two short animations. $5 may not seem like a lot at first, but after seeing how many moves we will need, it will start adding up. Multiple moves may be assigned at the same time.

Along with being able to animate, we are looking for an animator who is proficient at Roblox Studio. We are still learning the ropes of how animation works on Roblox, so we would like an animator who can import their own animations into rigs and possibly teach us along the way!
We are hoping to work with the animator on and off throughout the year. Again we are currently in college and are balancing work, college, and game development.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years or older
- Must have experience animating, whether in Blender, Moon Suite, etc.
- Must be good at communicating
- Have knowledge of Roblox Studio
