About Us

Hey, I’m the owner of sub studios and I’m looking to hire all sorts of developers for our new and upcoming game.

Who we are looking for

  • Scripter
  • Builder
  • Modeler

About The Job

We are looking for developers that need experience, but have the knowledge to do the stuff. The main way the game works in simple words, ships fighting. In more detail, the game starts by 8 islands being randomly positioned on a terrain of water, there will be 2 teams, red and blue. Players will be automatically assigned to teams. What you are supposed to do is conquer islands (like capture the flag, you take their treasure chest to your base), if you have conquered 5 islands, your team wins. You get coins depending on ur kills, deaths and how many islands u conquered. With those coins, you can buy ships and upgrade their stats. You can also have in player combat with a gun and sword you will be spawned with.

Potential list of things a scripter might need to do
  1. Loading screen - you will need to show the percentage that the game has loaded.

  2. Tutorial - it will only be there if it’s the person’s first time, pretty self explanatory

  3. Ships - These ships will be spawned through inventory, can be bought from store and can have their components upgraded for coins, these will have cannons, missiles etc depending on each ship.

  4. Weapons - this includes normal guns which won’t need an ammo, just a recoil. It also includes cannons which will be on SOME ships that are a little expensive

  5. Gamepasses -
    Increased Ship Defence
    Increased Ship Attack
    Increased Ship Accuracy
    Personal Parrot
    VIP
    Infinite Oxygen

Dev Products -
Buying Coins
Buying temporary perks like better speed

Codes - obvious

Oxygen system - when u fall into water, there will be an oxygen level, once it falls to 0 u die

Islands -
You will have to script the islands to show which team they belong to

Round system -
Round ends when a team has more than 5 islands (total of 8 conquerable islands in game), once round ends, an intermission screen will appear and then plrs will be assigned to teams, the conquerable islands will have their position randomly generated on the map

You will be given more detail once you DM me depending on your task.

Payment

The preferred method of our payment would be percentages, however we are able to pay in robux/limiteds aswell.

Although we are looking to mostly save our robux for advertisements, we are willing to pay our developers with robux. It’s best if we continue talks in private messages here or in discord.

Have you considered hiring a music composer? This sounds like an action game, and every good action game, movie, show, etc has good music to amp it up!

Limiteds is always an awkward form of payment to use, mostly to do with fluctuating RAP and the overall ‘Value’ of items. Personally I’d shy away from using them for two reasons.

  • Fluctuating rates of limiteds likely means they will decrease in value over time, not good if you’re being commissioned!

  • If the developer chooses to sell the limited, they can’t actually cash out any of that Robux into real world USD through DevEx if they choose to do so.

Apart form that, good luck with your project but I think that my suggestions will help you guarantee a more stable form of payment for your developers in the long-term.

Thank you for your opinion, but I’ve given the developer the free will to choose which payment option suits him.

Even so, it’s good to consider your options. I can think of three great composers that would happily assist in your project, now or later. Myself, @Disparrel and @DevNetCheese are all excellent choices. I would strongly urge you look to see if they’re available either now or whenever you choose music.

I agree with you, a composer is needed to enhance your games gameplay, but I would like to first like to put the necessary pieces together, and then get back to the add ons.
