Hi! We’re Blackprint studios, a passionate group of developers creating polished and well made experiences for all. Our current project is Monarch, a floor based, first person horror game taking place in a run down facility Inspired by games like Pressure, Doors, and Dandy’s World.
About the roles
We are currently looking for several roles which are listed below along with a short description about what you’re expected to do on the job. Each role includes a count showing how many more slots are waiting to be filled. All roles expect you to have good communication skills.
- Builder [2/2] - As a builder you will be expected to create detailed and realistic builds using grey-boxes while staying consistent to the game’s art style. Builders are expected to take feedback and iterate on their work.
- Animator [2/2] - We have 2 needs for this role, you can fit one of these (or even better, both!) and still get accepted.

Roblox Animator - With this role, you will create realistic animations using traditional roblox rigs (R6, R15). You should be able to create looping animations (like walk cycles) and cutscene animations (non looping animations, often with multiple characters). You are expected to take feedback and iterate on your work.

Blender Animator - With the role, you will create animations using custom made rigs in blender. These rigs will be boned using mesh deformation and don’t look like traditional roblox animations. You should be able to create looping animations (like walk cycles) and cutscene animations (non looping animations, often with multiple characters).

Payment
Unfortunately we do not have any direct payment. The most we can give is a cut. These cuts are negotiable and would usually be around 5% per team member (This may seem low, but we already have around 7 developers working on the project who all need cuts as well). We reserve the right to take away a cut if you leave the project (EX: quitting either formally or informally), Although we will not take away cuts until you have earned more than an agreed upon amount (EX: 10,000 robux an hour you’re actively working on the project). If you are directly kicked out of the team for behavior like harassment, cuts will be taken away immediately not taking into consideration your agreed upon amount.
Cuts may not seem like a great deal and we understand. We fully want to be able to pay you direct money, but unfortunately we can’t. Monarch deep down is a passion project that’s worked on for the sake of passion not money. If you work for money (which is totally understandable, You deserve to be paid for your work) then this may not be the project for you, and we wish you luck on your job search!
