About Me

Hello! I am a roblox developer who has many types of skills. I can program, build, model, create GFX, and more. I have always wanted to create a giant open source library made by myself. Recently I realized if I want this to happen, I would need to hire some partners. I would like to keep our team small so I am probably hiring 1-2 new developers.

I have no care whether I make money when I develop. I do it to learn and for experience.

About the project.

We do not currently have a name, I will work it out later. This will be a website. We plan on doing everything related to roblox development. From scripting to modeling to animations. Whatever you need, we got it. We also will provide tutorials for new developers.

Why I want to do this

I may not be the best developer, but I want to leave a mark on roblox when I leave. I want to do something people remember me for. My best trait is probably my generosity so I decided I want to do this. And I already said I don’t care about the money. I would rather develop an awesome game that makes nothing then a scummy game that makes a lot.

Positions We Need

Currently we are in need of a UI Designer and a Sound Designer.

UI Designer

You will be allowed to work on your own time, but if you are not actively making you may be kicked from the team. I expect you to be able to make at least 4 UI’s before we release the website (about a month)

If you are looking to profit off of this, I would leave right now. This will not have payment. You will only be paid from donations.

If you have a second skill, that would also increase your chance of being chosen.

Sound Designer

You will be allowed to work on your own time, but if you are not actively making assets you may be kicked from the team. I expect you to be able to make at least 5 sound effects and 2 songs before we release the website (about a month)

Payment

This is entirely for the roblox developing community. Do not expect payment. You will be paid only through donations.

What kind of things would the library contain ? If you’re looking for books and stuff, you would need lots of copyright money to pay the authors. Without mentionning the roblox censorship (you would have to use images or generate your own letters using parts and stuff)

Also, i’m pretty sure there are no sound designers on this site, and if there were, they would probably not make songs lol (maybe you’re looking for a composer and you didn’t know the name ?)

It contains everything related to roblox development! Models, GFX, scripts, etc…

I meant sound designers/composers. I could probably make sound effects myself but I am not amazing at it.

Hey, I do composing and stuff. I like the idea of composing and open sourced project.
I’m not sure what you need but I won’t be able to do sound effects.

I can also make websites and do backend stuff but I won’t be available to actively work on a project like this.
