About The Job

We are looking for professional developers to join our team. We expect high quality items that adhere to our game’s style. Good communication skills are required; we check team progress daily and want to maintain a healthy relationship with one another. You must have seen the original Jurassic Park or be willing to watch it before we begin development. The use of monday.com is mandatory.

Job Desc

Builder
The builder must be able to create realistic builds that adhere to our style. They must also be able to create vehicles and smooth terrain. They should be about to create buildings relatively quickly but we understand ROBLOX is not a priority.

Programmer
The programmer must be able to create AI for the dinosaurs and create interactive buttons for doors and other objects. For example, they must be able to create it where an E pops up and you click E and a gate opens.

UI Designer
The UI Designer will not have much to do; that’s why pay is so low. They will create the player inventory and the mini-map. They may also create stamina bars and health bars.

Dinosaur Builder
The dinosaur builder should be able to create dinosaurs similar to the picture below. They should be able to be animated.

Scripter - 20%
Builder is 15%
Modeller (Dino Builder) 10%
Animator 10%
UI Designer - 5%

The 2 founders and managers get 20% as they will develop and manage. We apologize if this does not satisfy your needs, but we tried out best with 7 developers and room for ads.

I think you’re going to struggle to find very talented developers with % cuts like that.

Specifically in the scripter position.

Just thought I would say this as I believe it would be in your best interest to re-think how you’ve split up the game’s potential revenue.

why do wolfpack and hiboy get that much pay? were as the scripters and builders getting nothing and there the ones doing the work making the game.

I dont think your gonna find anyone with those prices. With two people getting 20 percent each it seems unfair. the builder and scripter should get a raise. Anyway thats my opinion

Scripters should always get above 20%, if the game depends on script. If it’s just a walk around showcase type game then maybe not that much. But it seems as though that might not be the case

Ads shouldn’t be given a %, they should be given payment per task. Here is my recommended payment. Feel free to ask questions on why I made it this way.

Wolf 20%
hi 20%
Scripter - 15%
Builder 15%
Modeller (Dino Builder) 10%
Animator 10%
Future commissions 10%

I’m just going to say it now:

Do not make a Jurassic Park game.

You don’t have the rights and will probably go down the same root Pokemon Brick Bronze went down (dmca’d).

If you want to make a game then don’t use brands which aren’t yours!

Exactly. I’d find it hard to invest time working on a project that I know will be deleted and not make money.

rule of thumb: the scripter should always be paid the most amount as its the entire heart of the game;
sure you can have nice builds, but theyre gonna be useless without scripts whereas a scripter can build to some degree depending on what he needs

whats more important, the scientist or the engineer.
there are alwase paradoxical stuff like this but the truth is that any game needs both, its never productive to say one orange is better than 1 apple.

The replies talking about how OP is not going to find anyone are unproductive and annoying. If the game is successful and earns millions of Robux, those percentages will bring in quite a bit of the money for the developers.

I think that, considering the job descriptions, the UI Designer is earning way too much. He’ll need to create only a few things but is getting 1/4 of what the scripter is getting.

Personally, 40% going to the owners seems a bit much to me as well, because the post doesn’t state what they’ll be doing except “developing” and "managing, which are very vague terms.

Also, I would look into using trademarks/copyrighted content on Roblox if you haven’t already.

dude I wouldn’t do this is I were you, the game will be taken down because you don’t have to rights to use Jurassic parks brand, so make your own name as well as logo.

I appreciate the suggestion but I’m looking into some copyright stuff. If copyright is a problem after I contact some people we will change the name and logo.

It is a problem. And your percentages as said above are WAY to low…

Judging off of the jobs you have listed I would change it to this.
Wolf - 10%
HiBoy - 10%
Ridgeon - 10%
Animator - Gets paid per animation.
Jack - 10%
Programmer - 25-30%
UI Designer - 5%
Dino Builder - 5%
Composer - Gets paid per song.
This leaves over 25% percentage which can be used for ads. You are never going to find a talented programmer with that low of a programmer percentage, and your game is going to be nothing without one.
