ABOUT THE GAME
Hello!
I am the founder for “Riot Productions” and our slow development game called “Riot Racing”
an action packed Racing/Shooting game, inspired by the movie “Death Race” (2008), and the Xbox 360 video game “Full Auto”. a semi realistic arcade racing/shooting game, win and fight your way to the finish line!
We are looking for a programmer to help and focus on pushing new and future games we have planned.
ABOUT THE JOB
The job is a full-time position as a programmer/scripter for Riot Racing. You’ll be helping with numerous programming related work for the game’s upcoming updates, including addition of new features and upgrades to existing functionality.
You will be handed off with tasks based on your availability and best experience. Planning to match needed delivery targets and providing regular updates on your progress is an important part of the job. You should always ask for help/feedback when you need it, so don’t hesitate to ask us, we are here to help.
We don’t have a set time at the moment for certain things, since it’s a very early build of the game, but we are trying to aim for 2021 alpha test/demo.
we would like to try and push 30-40 hours a week if possible and be consistent with the work flow.
we do follow up every week with performance and what everyone is doing and make sure things are getting done.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for someone who shares passion for game development, making a great game for players to experience, and takes this seriously and enjoys it!
NEEDED TARGET TRAITS
- Sufficient experience with constraints and dynamic assemblies (Such as making player-controlled mechanisms for a vehicle)
- Able to work well with CFrames and geometry
- Knowledge around the roblox engine and your code’s interplay with performance
- General knowledge around exploits and how to code preventively
EXTRA TARGET TRAITS:
- Able to make detailed special effects
- Able to create good quality animations
PAYMENT
Since we are currently new and the game is very early stages
we pay 20% of group funds at the very moment, This is only temporary and we will increase and change this feature as time progresses with the game, for actual robux per hour. This is to make sure anyone isn’t getting scammed or unpaid.
WHY RIOT RACING?
We as Roblox community try to improve all game and user creations and push Roblox’s platform beyond it’s limit. Our Main Goal is to improve Performance, Gameplay, and Go beyond the Limits of Roblox as a whole.
